Introduction to Equine CST – One Day Workshop

This is a one day workshop working with horses in a CranioSacral way.  Experience and learn some basic, easy to apply manual therapy techniques to help relax and rebalance your horse’s nervous system, muscles and fascia.

CST can help your horse become calmer, more responsive to cues/aides, more willing to contact the bit, have smoother movement and much more.  Behaviour issues are also often corrected or imporved with this gentle therapy.

The day will have lots of hands on experience and will be centered around:

• Safety in horse handling

• Grounding-self, awareness and energy awareness

• Observing the horse move

• Approaching the horse

• Looking a different types of horses – high spirited / bred vs. calm riding school types

• CranioSacral rhythm – listening stations, differences in horses and humans

• Still points diaphragms – hand positions and practice.

The workshop will be facilitated by Deirdre Kennedy CST-T.  Deirdre has extensive equine experience both in Ireland and the USA and is a study group facilitator for Upledger Institute ireland.
