DESCRIPTION: Therapeutic Imagery & Dialogue presents a dynamic adjunct to the work of CranioSacral Therapy. Using the cranial rhythm and soft touch of CST the technique interweaves concepts of Jung, Perles and Assagioli to assist you in gently accessing the client’s Inner Physician. With this method you are guided by imagery as it is presented by the client rather than serve as the guide to imagery. The objective is to greet these images, learn what they know, and discern what information they can provide toward the client’s healing.
This CranioSacral approach to imagery and dialogue is also designed to aid your growth as an individual. Because a CranioSacral Therapist’s skills and abilities depend largely on how readily nonconscious information comes into his or her awareness, this course supports exploration of behaviors, feelings images, and core beliefs. As you become more aware of your own uniqueness an motivations, you can move toward becoming a more integrated self. And you can learn how your new discoveries may be brought into the world of action.
Program Highlights
- Explore techniques to bring your nonconscious into more material existence
- Practice drawing your nonconscious images and dialoguing with them face to face.
- Learn how to use sounding vowels and other internal vibrations, along with a 10-step protocol designed to enhance imagery and dialogue.
- Discuss in greater detail Dr. Upledger’s ideas on imagery and dialogue and the psychosynthesis map.
- Practice using the significance detector.
